Born From a Simple Frustration

Double Battery was born when our founders — both in their 40s and newly dependent on reading glasses — couldn't find a pair that was simultaneously well-made, stylish, and affordable. Pharmacy readers were flimsy and ugly. Designer frames required a prescription and cost a fortune.

So they created Double Battery: a brand dedicated to ready reading glasses that look as good as they work. Every frame is thoughtfully designed, every lens precision-crafted — at a price that makes owning multiple pairs the obvious choice.
